About & approach

Experience first. Technology with purpose.

I bring together international offshore materials and logistics, AMOS-based maintenance planning and industrial operations. My professional focus is Offshore Materials, Maintenance & Asset Readiness Management, supported by continuous learning and later-acquired management qualifications.

Formal management qualifications were earned after decades of practical professional experience. See the credential chronology and evidence boundaries.

A cross-functional working life

My professional appointments date from 1993: teaching, industrial process-control service, technically demanding offshore environments, research-centre administration and maintenance planning. These roles taught me that a solution succeeds only when it respects people, operating realities, controls and consequences.

Education
Nearly seven years teaching electronics to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
International teamwork
Extensive collaboration with multinational, cross-functional teams across offshore materials, logistics, engineering and maintenance.
Integrated AMOS experience
Equipment and inventory records, materials and procurement workflows, maintenance planning and work-order coordination. Explore the competency →
Continuous learning
PMP®, CSM®, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, IIM Visakhapatnam executive study and data analytics.

How I approach a problem

I do not begin by assuming that AI is the answer. I begin by understanding who experiences the problem, what evidence exists, what constraints matter and what improvement would be genuinely useful.

  • Discover: understand the people, environment and present workflow.
  • Define: separate symptoms from the underlying problem.
  • Design: compare practical interventions, including non-technical ones.
  • Prototype: build the smallest useful version that can produce evidence.
  • Verify: test behaviour, safety, reliability and real-world usefulness.
  • Improve: make decisions from evidence before scaling.

Continuous improvement. Ongoing learning.

I keep learning, update my skills and working methods, and use evidence and feedback to improve the next iteration. My later management qualifications and practical exploration of analytics, AI and automation build on decades of professional experience.

Operating principles

Build evidence before scale
Further investment and expansion should be earned through observed learning, engagement, payment, retention and referral.
Customers buy outcomes, not AI
Technology may power a solution, but people value a useful result they can understand and trust.
Build the product before the platform
Reusable infrastructure should be extracted only after repeated real-world patterns are proven.
Keep truth deterministic
Calculations, rules and governed evidence remain auditable; generative AI supports explanation and variation, not factual authority.

Responsible use of AI

AI accelerates research, analysis and development, but it does not remove human accountability. Important decisions require traceability, review, testing, privacy protection and clear limits.

A validation ladder

A promising idea is not yet a proven solution. Projects advance through seven questions: does someone learn or perform better; do they return voluntarily; will a real customer pay; do they retain or renew; will they refer others; can customers be reached repeatedly; and do the economics support responsible scale?
